Luckily, the United States is full of horse-friendly outdoor recreation areas perfect for the occasional day trip or longer vacation. The 320 acres of farmland surrounding the park is available for riding. Less than a 1-mile ride from the park is 2,000 acres of public wildlife area. Ride miles of county dirt roads as well as maintenance trails or strike off on your own through varied habitat from river bottom and upland timber to short and tall grass prairie. Three other wildlife areas available for riding are within an easy drive. The rustic park is located on a family farm and has 6 graveled parking spaces with electric and water hookups. Restrooms are on site and 3 spaces have sewer access. A grove of trees gives plentiful shade and ample room for picket lines and portable corrals. Whether you are looking for an overnight stay or a vacation spot, we offer convenient location and pleasant surroundings.
