Just minutes in any direction from restaurants and unique shops. Serenity is located in the quaint 

community of Shoals, NC. Serenity Stables is a short horseback ride from the Yadkin River Section of the 

Pilot Mountain State Park. Step back in time with safe, quiet, family oriented camping. 

The campground is equipped with picnic tables, firepits, electricity, outhouse, community water, and 

pasture turnout. Also available is an authentic rustic log cabin. Originally built in the 1880’s, it is now 

tucked away in a beautiful wooded area at Serenity Stables. It is a spacious one-room cabin complete with 

oil lamps, double bed, table for two, wash stand and gas logs. Cool in the summer and warm in the 

winter, it is the perfect ‘escape’. 

It has its own private entrance with picnic table, water, firepit, outhouse, grill, and pasture turnout. 

Serenity Stables and Campground is located near the Yadkin River with easy access to approximately 50 

miles of beautiful trails.

or load up and haul to Pisgah National Forest or Biltmore Estate. 

Guests from states might need to provide “vet certificates. 

Sorry, due to insurance regulations we are unable to provide horses for guests to ride.
